The Royal Wedding

William and Kate Middleton are to be married on 29th of this month. Will this marriage last till death do them part? Admittedly, it is an unfair question but one would fear such a possibility because of the recent history of many failures in the British royal family. Therefore one has to take some precautions to avoid any kind of mishap.

The young couple must enter into this alliance with total determination and commitment of “living together.” Pronouncing a promise such as this in God’s presence in the church has become a meaningless verbiage. Nobody seems to stick to it nor even remember it after three days.

William and Kate must remember that this union has the Divine approval.. Or. it was the Lord God who brought you together towards this decision. But for His involvement, events wouldn’t have come to this stage at all.

On the night of 29th April, before the marriage is consummated, Will and Kate should promise to each other privately, hand in hand, “We will never, never separate come what may. This is my promise to you.” This is a vital and serious undertaking.william and kate midlleton is a matching pair.

Prince William and Kate Middleton – The Royal Wedding 2011

Prince William and Kate Middleton - The Royal Wedding 2011The wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton is fast approaching.

King Henry I and Princess Matilda of Scotland were the first Royals to get married there when they tied the knot on Nov. 11, 1100. And of course it was the venue for the heart-rending but ultimately inspiring funeral of Diana, Princess of Wales, in 1997.

There have been a lot of column inches written about this most modern of couples, and their romance seems to have captured the imagination of the entire world.

Since meeting as students at St Andrew’s University in Scotland, their love affair has had plenty of time to flourish and mature. There can be no doubt that both of them are absolutely in love and committed to a lifetime’s partnership together.

And unlike Prince William’s father, Prince Charles, who infamously replied to the question as to whether he was in love with Diana “Yes, whatever ‘in love’ means…”, you can be certain that his son and future daughter-in-law know exactly what love is.

Much has been made of the future King of England marrying a commoner. Vestiges of snobbery masquerading as court protocol still haunt the royal corridors. Taunts of ‘doors to manual’ have been reported as being used by some aristocrats and courtiers of Kate, a reference to her mother’s former occupation as a flight attendant.
